Yule

Yule ~ The winter solstice. Mother Nature is shrouded in midwinter darkness, settling in for longest night of the year. The animals are sleeping deeply, the forest is silent. Yet candles are lit, for now is when the returning of the light begins. The waning of the year is over, and from here the days gradually begin to lengthen. Yule is a time of stillness and introspection, a time of quiet, patient intention setting. She brings hope of a new year, warmth, growth, and a soft reminder that light will reign again.
