Kohiki Rim Elliptical Bowl

Our Onko Collection is crafted by Sakiko Tomibe, a Fushimi-based pottery artist who is known for her works of incredible delicacy. Each object carries the character of a traditional form with a contemporary touch. The lightness inherent in her work is an expression of her skill, but each object remains utilitarian: its purpose is to be used, not to be admired at a distance. They retain a warmth and approachability, with shapes intentionally chosen for their usefulness. The pieces are finished with a Kohiki-esque ash glaze, giving each ceramic a distinctive green hue.
