Pound Tee

A graphic T shirt inspired by the beginning of the maize journey, when the harvest comes home. THE SEASON’S FIRST COBS COME HOME. Every meal begins somewhere. The Harvest Tee draws from the fields, the people who work them, and the moment maize is gathered and carried home. The artwork celebrates the beginning of the journey, before the grain is winnowed, before it is pounded, and before it becomes the meal we know. It is about the harvest, but also about what the harvest represents: nourishment, family, tradition and home. From the field to the table. From one generation to the next. GROUND FOR THE PEOPLE.
