The meditative restful magic of a rainy day. A single pear-shaped diamond falls into a scatter of diamond splashes. Rooted in the Japanese woodblock tradition of rendering rain as line, thin stripes of gold define a gradient wash of blue enamel sky. 18k yellow gold with a brushed satin finish. Craft & Technique:Each piece is hand-enameled using the champlevé technique — a traditional kiln-fired process in which glass enamel powder is carefully layered onto gold and fired multiple times, gradually building depth to achieve nuanced gradients and rich color. The surface is then filed and polished smooth. Slight variations in the enamel mean every piece is truly one of a kind.
