Each dye batch at our mill leaves a little extra yarn, and by season's end, those cones create a wall of colour in the warp room, reflecting an entire year of making. This year, our designers worked only with that yarn to create the Last Yarn Throw, bringing those colours together in one limited-edition throw. Merino wool comes from the fleece of Merino sheep, and it boasts some amazing properties. It is soft yet durable, fire resistant, temperature regulating, moisture wicking and odour resistant. A BIT ABOUT MICRONS The smaller the micron count, the finer the wool fibre will be. Wool typically falls in a range of 18–40 microns. These throws are made with supple 22 micron Merino wool, making them soft enough to cosy up with inside but durable enough for outdoor use.
