Fast Gravity-Fed Filtration A pair of Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements can provide a flow rate of up to approximately 15.9 litres per hour when the upper chamber is full. The flow rate will naturally decrease as the water level in the upper chamber falls. Because the system operates entirely by gravity, there is: No electricity. No pumps. No plumbing required. Simply fill the upper chamber and allow gravity to draw the water through the filter elements into the lower chamber. Retains Beneficial Minerals Phoenix New Millennium Edition™ filters are designed to reduce unwanted contaminants while retaining beneficial naturally occurring minerals such as calcium and magnesium. They are therefore not designed to significantly reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Advanced Activated Carbon Filtration Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements utilise advanced activated-carbon-based filtration media. The activated carbon contains a network of microscopic pores, creating a large internal surface area. As water passes through the porous filtration matrix, contaminants can be captured or adsorbed by the filter media before the filtered water enters the lower chamber.
