Vtg Japanese Hina Doll Furniture Lantern w/Box This is a vintage Hina doll furniture electric lantern set. A bonbori is a portable lamp traditionally used to light spaces during times without electricity (a lantern more decorative than a common brazier). This large pair of lanterns sit at the very top of a hina display at the ends. The frame and post are made of black metal. The lantern top is made of translucent white silk with a black resin frame and has pink cherry blossom trees printed on it. They are both connected to electrical cords and can be plugged into the wall. They have been tested and light up. It comes with the original paper box.
