Holiday Mug Table Wheel and Handbuilding Workshop – Richmond Studio, Toronto Get hands-on with clay in this fun fusion pottery class at our Richmond studio in Toronto. Start your creation on our unique table wheels and then add your personal touch with handbuilding techniques. We will feature a festive holiday mug during the guided demo, but you are welcome to put your own twist on it or create something entirely unique. No experience is needed. Our instructors will guide you through table wheel throwing, shaping, carving, and handbuilding, giving you the skills and support to craft a piece you are proud of. After class, your mug will be bisque fired, coated with a clear glaze, and kiln fired again, making it food safe, dishwasher safe, and ready for cozy holiday drinks. Important Winter Holiday Notice: To have your mug ready in time for Christmas, please attend a workshop before December 1. The full process takes about 3 weeks as your piece will need to dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again.
