Two-handed sword Carlos V, 16th century, gilded with red grip, semi sharp

In 1519, Charles I of Spain was elected Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and ruled as Charles V over a realm that extended across Europe, America, Asia and Africa. His two-handed sword is considered one of the most imposing swords in Spanish history; the original is held in the Royal Armoury in Madrid.This replica features a gilded hilt with a red-wrapped grip. On the cross-guard is inscribed in relief the inscription CARLOS V. In the stainless steel blade are engraved the weapons of the House of Habsburg and of the kingdoms Castile-León-Granada, Aragon-Sicily, Austria, Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders and Tyrol.The sword is semi sharp and intended for collectors, decoration and as a ceremonial piece in your costume; it is not suitable for combat.
