Join us for a two week knitting course designed especially for beginners! No previous knitting experience is necessary - just come ready to learn, stitch, and enjoy the process of making something beautiful by hand. In two classes, you will learn the essential techniques needed to create a popular, simple scarf finished with a beautiful I-cord border. Supplies not included. All students get 20% off in-store purchase during the weekly duration of this class. Materials must be purchased in advance before class starts. When: 10/7 & 10/21 - Wednesday nights for 2 weeks Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm (2 hours) Where: 3105 Ambrose Avenue Nashville, TN 37207 What to bring: - 1 skeins of DK weight yarn - 100-140 yds. - Needles size US4 (3.5mm) - Row Counter (or pen and paper) - Post class: Tapestry needle to weave in ends, pins, scissors Class Breakdown: - First class: We'll introduce the main knitting stitches and learn how to create the I-cord border, building the foundation for your scarf. - Second class: Learn one additional stitch and focus on bringing your project together with finishing techniques and thoughtful final touches.
