A stand-up collar shirt made from original cotton fabric, inspired by a French textile sample book from a century ago. Careful study of the archival fabrics informed the yarn combinations and weave, reconstructing the atmosphere of the original cloth for everyday wear. The pattern is woven into the fabric rather than printed. Its subtle stripes and small motifs bring depth and texture to the muted blue-grey color. A classic stand-up collar gives the shirt a simple, refined profile. Freshwater-shell buttons complement the woven fabric. Finished with a split, double-layer back yoke and flat-felled seams. The cotton fabric is given a one-wash and tumble-dry finish.
