Chestnut Blackcurrant tarte

Freshly whipped chestnut cream is the star of this returning favourite, and a must-try for chestnut lovers. An almond shortbread base holds a layer of chestnut sponge cake and our house-made blackcurrant jam. On top, a generous layer of freshly whipped chestnut cream and a dome of chestnut mousse, framed by a thin chocolate square and crowned with a piece of candied chestnut. The bright tang of blackcurrant cuts through the rich, nutty chestnut for a perfectly balanced bite.
