Castor Plastic Socket to Suit Tube - Black

A ribbed plastic socket that press-fits into the end of 20mm diameter round tube to accept a standard grip neck castor stem. The external splines bite into the tube wall to hold the socket securely without adhesive or fixings, and the moulded flange sits flush against the tube end to give the castor a clean, stable seat. Rated to 80kg static and 40kg dynamic at speeds up to 3 km/h, it suits chair and stool bases, trolleys, display units, storage racking and other tubular frames where a castor needs to be fitted directly into open tube.
