'RM Shifty’ Dahlia Rooted Cutting

Height: 40” RM Shifty Dahlia RM Shifty is one of those dahlias that just makes a bouquet better. The coloring is SO good ... buttery yellow, cream, champagne, and the softest blush, sometimes all in the same bloom. The color shifts as the flowers mature and throughout the season, so you never quite know which version of Shifty you're going to get. Early in the season, blooms can open with a noticeable green center, but those centers close as the blooms mature. As the season progresses, we see fewer open centers and more of those perfectly finished little formal decorative blooms. The flowers are petite at around 2.5–3 inches across and sit on deep, dark green stems that make the soft coloring stand out even more. Plants produce lots of buds and blooms in clusters and sprays. You can let them do their thing for an abundance of smaller blooms, or disbud and cut deeply when growing for cut flowers. And the color makes RM Shifty incredibly easy to use. Champagne, blush, buttery yellow, cream ... it plays well with just about everything. It's especially pretty mixed with peaches, soft pinks, warm neutrals, and other muted tones.
