Worthy no. 7 Kantha Pillow Cover

A little square of kantha... Each pillow cover features layers of vintage saris, hand-stitched together by women in Bangladesh using a traditional kantha stitch. The front is stitched in kantha, then machine-sewn to a natural-white, new cloth backing with an envelope enclosure. 18" Pillow cover only; insert/fill not included. Handcrafted by women who are survivors of (or vulnerable to) exploitation, now employed in work that brings Marvellous & livelihood. Pillow covers are a smaller project for artisans with less experience or capacity, giving them pride in an attainable, finished product.
