Permanent Style Magazine A/W 26
Permanent Style Magazine is the full illustrated edition of PermanentStyle.com, with the best articles expanded with new and larger photography, alongside some exclusive content and newly commissioned illustrations. How were the clothes for The Phantom Thread conceived? Why is it better to fail on Shark Tank? What Fox materials did a pop star pick for their tour? These are some of the questions – perhaps surprisingly – answered in the new issue of Permanent Style magazine, which has longer, more in-depth articles than ever before. On the website, this would never have made sense. For Manish to go to LA, spend multiple days with Oscar-winning costume designer Mark Bridges, and dine the following evening with fellow costume designer Jenny Egan, just for a blog post? It would never have happened. But with a big magazine, with 10 pages to fill with behind-the-scenes details, Mark's sketches and many anecdotes, it makes perfect sense – that is worth taking the time. The same goes for commissioning an artist to do custom designs for the shopping guide, or spending a full day in a studio putting together a set of the team's favourite looks for winter rain. It's Permanent Style, but bigger and better. This also means that nearly all the articles are exclusive to the magazine. The magazine is semi-annual, coming out in Spring and Fall. 168 pages. Soft back cover. 28.5x23 cm.
