Liquitex Satin Varnish

A protective finish with a gentle sheen Liquitex Satin Varnish gives your acrylic artwork a soft surface sheen between matte and gloss. Use it as the final step to protect your painting and create an even finish. Balanced finish: More reflective than matte, softer than gloss. Clear protection: Helps keep dirt away from the painted surface. Lasting top coat: Dries to a permanent, durable layer. How to use Make sure your paint is fully dry - 72 hours to 2 weeks, depending on thickness. Gently stir the varnish without shaking or thinning it. Apply 1–2 thin coats using a soft, flat brush, with at least 24 hours between coats. For more than two layers, use Gloss Varnish underneath and Satin Varnish as the final coat. For glow projects: Brush over finished, dried glow acrylic paint. Test a small area first to check the surface finish and glow, as this varnish is permanent.
