Petite Hexacorallia Sconce - Tenmoku

Inspired by microscopic lifeforms, sponges, and star corals, this handcrafted porcelain sconce balances sculptural form with a warm, diffused glow peaks through the tenmoku-style iron rich glazed surface. Process The original form is hand-formed, then used to create a mould. Each piece is cast in Australian porcelain and glazed in an iron oxide rich tenmoku-style glaze, turning the pale porcelain body a glossy brown, breaking to black where the glaze pools thickest.
