The term comes from the verb utsu, meaning “to strike” or “to beat,” reflecting the practice’s emphasis on disciplined, continuous playing. - The goal is for the body to internalize efficient technique - prioritizing form over power, while building strength, stamina, and endurance. - Class will include various timed drills and a long, non-stop uchikomi circuit! --------------------------------------------------------------- Payment Options Drop-in: $35/class.
