Point the Way Amethyst Crystal Cluster

A petite amethyst cluster with a natural upward-pointing formation — compact enough to set in a wire-wrapped pendant or statement piece, yet striking enough to stand alone on any shelf or desk it calls home. This piece has rich purple crystal points with a compact, well-defined formation and a natural matrix base. Amethyst is a translucent purple variety of quartz and the birthstone of February. The ancient Greeks believed it prevented intoxication — the name comes from the Greek amethystos, meaning "not drunk." When engraved with the circle of the sun or moon, it was thought to protect against poison.
