Barsham Brewery Pilgrim's Pale Ale 4.0% — 500ml

A pale ale with a proper story behind it. Brewed on the West Barsham Estate in North Norfolk with Pilgrim hops, in collaboration with the Walsingham Shrine — a nod to the pilgrims who've been walking that road for the best part of a thousand years. It picked up a one-star Great Taste Award in 2020, so it isn't just the name doing the work. Soft malt up front, a clean citrus lift from the hops, and a dry finish that doesn't hang about. At 4%, it's the one to open when you want something with character but you're not trying to write the evening off.
