With Love & Squalor: 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition 2LP

With Love & Squalor was one of the signature indie dance angular sleaze rock guitar albums of the mid-oughts. Released in 2005 in the UK (2006 in North America), it brought We Are Scientists fame, wealth, and acclaim. Bigger shows. Getting recognized on the street. Dates with TV actresses. A psychic was brought on staff full-time. Keith got a loyalty card at a rehab facility, and Chris became the spokesperson for the Icelandic Tomato Growers Association. Both ran unsuccessfully for British Parliament. With Love & Squalor’s initial vinyl offering disappeared instantly, like a drop of sweat on the desert floor. Subsequent repressings over the years have proven popular and insufficient. Now, on the 20th anniversary of its release, we offer you a deluxe treatment that will undoubtedly prove to be the definitive edition. This expanded 2LP offering includes B-sides, live tracks, and rarities. Pressed onto Kitten’s Nose Pink and Keith’s Jumper Red vinyl, it features a gatefold and slipcovers plastered with never-before-seen photos from the band’s personal archives.* SIDE A A1 - Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt A2 - This Scene Is Dead A3 – Inaction A4 - Can't Lose A5 – Callbacks A6 - Cash Cow SIDE B B1 - It's A Hit B2 - The Great Escape B3 – Textbook B4 - Lousy Reputation B5 - Worth The Wait B6 - What's The Word SIDE C C1 - Mucho Mas C2 - Surprise C3 - Ram It Home C4 - Callbacks Under the Sea C5 - Hoppipolla SIDE D D1 - Sie hat Was vermisst D2 - Nobody Move Under The Sea D3 - History Repeats D4 - This Means War D5 - Great Escape Under The Sea D6 - Be My Baby
