Most Incredible Studios, The Benediction Church Fan

August, and the air in that sanctuary does not move unless somebody moves it. The ushers stand at the end of every aisle in white gloves. The windows are open, and nothing is coming through them. Every pew has a stack in the rack beside the hymnals, and you take one before you sit down, the way you take a program. She lifts hers, and the whole row starts to breathe. Slow on the hymn. Faster when the preacher finds his rhythm, and the organ finds him. Still for a second when the Spirit comes through, because some moments you let the heat have. Then everybody stands for the benediction, and her fan is still going. Service is over when the fan stops. Nobody owned one. You borrowed it every Sunday and set it back in the rack, and somehow it was always yours. Almost eleven inches tall, so it sits on a shelf the way it waited in that rack, ready for the next service. Not the program folded into a fan. Same heat, same pew, different piece. You know the difference. — 193 LEGO® bricks, Assembled 6.3 × 10.8 × 1 in. | Includes: QR code with assembly guide and photo editorial
