Introducing The Cambo Collection - the first in a new Annual Limited-Edition Range of whiskies from Kingsbarns Distillery. This bespoke collection of whiskies pays homage to our home, our agricultural heritage and the locally sourced ingredients that go into every bottle of Kingsbarns Single Malt Whisky. This First Edition has been fully matured in STR Casks for 10 years, bringing rich darks fruits and sweet spice to our light, fruity and floral house style Kingsbarns Distillery is located on the grounds of the lovingly restored East Newhall farm steading within the grounds of the Cambo Estate. At the centre of our home stands our iconic Doocot. Built in 1800, this rare architectural treasure is the focal point of our distillery and a lasting link to our farm steading roots. Each year, our whisky-making team hand-select casks from our quietly maturing stock to become part of this unique collection of whiskies. Age: 10 Years Old Cask Type: Fully matured in STR (Shaved, Toasted & Recharred) Red Wine Barriques ABV: 46% Tasting Notes: The Nose: Baked apple with cinnamon spice, bramble jam and blackcurrant concentrate. The Palate: Cinnamon rolls with vanilla icing, baking spices and plummy dark fruits. The Finish: A lingering sweetness alongside the warmth of cracked black pepper.
