Some things stay with you forever and for me, Ralph Lauren has always been one of them. Long before creating the illustrations you see here, Ralph Lauren was already a very special part of my life. My husband Pete and I founded our Hamptons Club stores back in 2009, bringing a little piece of the American East Coast lifestyle to Europe. For 12 wonderful years, we worked with Ralph Lauren and his fabulous team. I was incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to help introduce the Ralph Lauren Home collection to Europe. Those years shaped so much of who I am creatively and my love for this extraordinary brand has never faded. I have always admired the way Ralph Lauren creates more than fashion or interiors. He creates a whole world, one filled with beautiful places, familiar traditions, timeless design and that wonderful feeling of wanting to step inside and stay awhile. From the elegance of a New York townhouse to the relaxed charm of the Hamptons, his vision has influenced not only my work, but also the way I think about home, travel, and the little details that make life beautiful. Ralph Lauren himself has been one of my greatest inspirations and I know he always will be. And so, this collection is a very personal one for me. A little tribute to a designer who has inspired me throughout my journey, and to the places that have always captured my imagination. You will find my illustrations of the iconic The Polo Bar in New York City, the beautiful Ralph Lauren flagship store at 867 Madison Avenue and, of course, Ralph's Coffee — one of those places that feels special wherever you find it. From London to the Hamptons to New York City, I have loved capturing the familiar green and blue awnings, the beautiful architecture and all those little details that make these places so unmistakably Ralph Lauren. Each illustration has been lovingly created in our little studio in the Cotswolds, England, where I now spend my days painting the places, interiors and moments that inspire me most. It feels rather lovely to bring together two chapters of my life in this way: my years working with a brand I adore and my journey as an artist, creating pieces that I hope will become part of someone else's story, too.
