Rick Turner Model 1 Custom Cherry Burst Figured Maple Top w/ Full Electronics Package #6208

The Rick Turner Model 1 is one of the most versatile electric guitars out there! You may recognize the Model 1 from seeing Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac play one as his primary instrument. This guitar offers exceptional response, clarity, sustain, and a diverse array of sonic possibilities through the inclusion of a D-TAR Eclipse active preamp, a Piezo bridge, and a semi-parametric EQ that you can use to open up a whole new world of tone-shaping. This particular M1 has been customized with a beautifully figured Maple top imbued with a Cherry Burst bound in Ivoroid. Also included is a brand new 3-layer Maple neck design with a striking piece of Purpleheart inserted down the center. Many Model 1's (including the Lindsey Buckingham signature) are known to include five layer laminate Maple / Purpleheart necks for additional stability, and the talented team of luthiers at Rick Turner Guitars felt it was time to add a new variation of that option. We are honored to receive the first batch bearing this new neck!
