The all-aluminum microchannel coil comes mounted in a galvanized steel housing with a round fan opening (fan shroud), with labeled copper inlet and outlet stubs ready to braze. Key Features Microchannel (MCHE) design: high heat transfer in a compact, lightweight package. It also needs a smaller refrigerant charge than tube-and-fin coils. All-aluminum brazed core: no copper-to-aluminum joints in the core, which means good corrosion resistance. Galvanized steel housing with an integrated round fan shroud and pre-punched mounting holes.
