Aberargie Laureate Expression Single Malt Whisky, 70cl

A limited release of one of Scotland’s most treasured heritage barley varieties, the Laureate Expression showcases a newer generation of barley, chosen for its resilience and exceptional flavour potential. Produced using 100% Laureate barley, this limited-edition single malt has been matured in a carefully balanced combination of 68% first-fill sherry butts and 32% first-fill bourbon casks. The greater sherry cask influence brings forward Laureate barley’s vibrant and elegant character. Expect layers of candied orange peel, rich dried fruits and ripe orchard fruits, complemented by gentle spice and a lasting honeyed finish.
