Take Heart, It Is I — Feet of Jesus Walking on the Stormy Sea Christian Canvas Wall Art

Some nights the water is already over your head. The diagnosis, the empty chair at the table, the worry that wakes you at 3 a.m. You have prayed until the words ran out, and all you can see is the next wave. You need to know Someone is already on the way to you. This Jesus walking on water canvas wall art is an Old Masters–style oil painting seen from where Peter was when he began to sink: low, at the level of the waves, looking up. Two bare feet fill the frame, stepping across a dark, storm-tossed sea, rings of water spreading where they rest on the surface. Above, the hem of a cream linen robe lifts and twists in the wind. You never see His face, only that He is coming. Behind Him a band of amber dawn breaks over the far hills, and the disciples’ small boat rides the swell far off to the left. Matthew 14:27 (ESV): “But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.’” It hangs in the study now. On the hard mornings your eyes go straight to the ripples under His feet: the sea did not stop Him then, and it is not stopping Him now. Ready to hang, available in six sizes, gallery-wrapped on a 1.25″ pine frame with the image printed around every edge.
