An Early 20thC Green Painted Plaster Bust of a Youth c.1900-20

A late Victorian/Edwardian plaster bust of a youth or boy, originally painted green and now abraded, raised on an architectural base, with characteristic wear and an organic patina.

• The surface has achieved a superb, organic patination: flecked losses, chalky passages, and small fractures to the paint layer.
• There are small sections of chipped loss and pitting to various areas.
